Online Purchase Policy

By completing an online purchase through TASTE, you agree to the following terms and conditions:


1. Authorization of Charges

By submitting an order on our website, the customer expressly authorizes TASTE to charge the payment method provided for the full amount of the purchase, including applicable taxes and fees.

All transactions are processed securely through our payment system, and customers confirm that the information they provide is accurate and that they are the authorized cardholder or have permission from the cardholder to complete the transaction.


2. Final Sale Policy

All online purchases — including alcohol, gift cards, and merchandise — are final sale.
Once an order is submitted and payment is authorized, it cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded.


3. Order Verification & Fraud Prevention

TASTE may require additional verification or identification for certain transactions to prevent fraud.
If verification is requested and not provided, TASTE reserves the right to cancel the order prior to fulfillment.
Suspicious transactions may be declined, held for review, or reported when necessary.


4. Gift Card Purchases

• Instant Activation – All digital and physical gift cards are activated immediately once payment is authorized. Activated cards are considered delivered and usable, and therefore cannot be refunded or reversed.

• Proof of Use – Any redemption of the gift card — in whole or in part — serves as confirmation that the purchase was valid and authorized. TASTE maintains timestamped purchase logs, activation records, and redemption history, which may be provided in the event of a chargeback inquiry.

• Fraud Controls – Due to the high rate of fraud associated with gift card purchases, TASTE may require additional identity verification or may place a hold on unusually large transactions.


5. Alcohol Sales

• Age Confirmation – By purchasing alcohol online, the customer confirms they are 21+ and legally permitted to buy alcohol in Connecticut. Valid government-issued ID is required for pickup or delivery.

• No Refunds or Returns – All alcohol sales are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded, except where required by law for defective products.

• Pickup Requirements – Alcohol orders will only be released to individuals who show valid ID and match legal requirements. Failure to provide ID does not qualify the order for a refund.

• Abandoned Orders – Orders not picked up within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., 7 days) are considered abandoned. Abandoned alcohol orders are not eligible for refunds, as inventory and compliance costs are incurred at the time of sale.


6. Pickup & Redemption Verification

For in-store pickup or gift card redemption, customers may be asked to present ID and/or the payment method used for the transaction to ensure proper authorization.


7. Chargebacks & Disputes

Placing an order on the TASTE website constitutes the customer’s agreement that the transaction is valid, authorized, and final.
Because all online sales are final, any concerns regarding a charge should be raised directly with TASTE prior to initiating a dispute with the customer’s financial institution.

TASTE will provide all supporting records — including receipts, activation logs, redemption history, and authorization details — as evidence of a valid and completed transaction.


8. Acceptance of Policy

By completing checkout, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all terms outlined in this Online Purchase Policy, including:

  • Authorization of the charge

  • Final sale status

  • Age-verification requirements for alcohol

  • Non-refundable nature of gift cards and alcohol purchases

Completing an online order constitutes full authorization of the charge and agreement to these terms.
